Becky & Ray’s Story
In 2013 Becky and Ray were planning their wedding when they found out that Becky was expecting a baby. After much deliberation they decided to have a short and intimate legal ceremony at one of the Norfolk Register offices and defer their big day.
After their daughter, Philippa, arrived both Becky and Ray wanted the experience of having the wedding that they had previously hoped for. So they set about planning their special event. However, they were already married – so Becky and Ray came to Norfolk Registration and asked how they could celebrate before family and friends. They wanted to replicate their vows in front of people who were important to them, they also wanted Phillipa to play an important part in the event as the flower girl. So they chose to have a Marriage Celebration.
Becky finally got the chance to choose her wedding dress accompanied by her mum and bridesmaids, choosing the flowers and favours and Ray got the opportunity to find just that right suit!
In front of 110 guests who had travelled from Malaysia, Norfolk and the Home Counties, at Sprowston Manor Becky and Ray celebrated their marriage.
The most memorable thing about the day? Their first dance.
